Congonhas Airport - CGH

São Paulo, Brazil (BR)

Getting into Sao Paolo

Take the subway

The Congonhas airport is located only 8 kilometres south of downtown São Paulo. Therefore many options exist to get into the city center:

Subway

Congonhas is connected to the São Judas subway station (blue line) via a 20-minute bus ride on line 675I.

Taxis

Remember that São Paulo has a very bad reputation for its traffic situation. So Taxis from Congonhas to hotel zones and business districts cost anywhere from USD 15 to USD 40, depending on the traffic.

Getting around the airport

CGH

São Paulo–Congonhas is one of three commercial airports of São Paulo. For pilots it is known because of its short runway and a descent right in between the skyscrapers of the city. Congonhas has one single terminal with gate numbers ranging from 1 to 12. Congonhas does not serve international flights anymore, so it's only for domestic flights.
