JER

Jersey Airport is a small transport hub, around 8km north-west of the island's capital, St Helier.

It has one terminal with limited facilities. Landside, there are a couple of cafes, and airside, there's the Island Market and The Bar. All shopping is airside, with shops selling: healthcare products, pearl jewellery and local pottery and wine, as well as a WHSmith newsagents and a World Duty Free. There are two airside lounges - one for British Airways and Flybe customers, and one for Blue Islands customers.

The terminal is scheduled for demolition and modernisation, due to the former use of unsafe asbestos building material, but plans are still in progress.

Note that: As Jersey is part of the 'Common Travel Area', you will only be subject to limited ID card checks before flying to the UK and Ireland. However, you will have a full passport check when flying elsewhere.

Airport opening hours: Summer, 05:45-21:00; Winter, 07:00-21:00
