Getting into Calgary

Taxi service is available around the clock and the fares are based on meter rates.

Domestic Terminal, before security, arrivals level, outside of Doors 1 and 6
International Terminal, before security, arrivals level, outside of Doors 16 and 17
Cost: approximately CAD 40-45 to downtown Calgary

Bus

The best bus route to downtown is the Route 300 which is a rapid, limited stop service to Downtown via Centre Street. Buses run every 20-40 minutes daily and the journey takes 30 minutes. Tickets are available from Mac’s Convenience stores on the Arrivals level or in vending machines located at Bus Bay 7.

Getting around the airport

Two terminals with five concourses

Calgary International Airport is located 17km northeast of downtown Calgary and has two terminals, Domestic and International.

  • The Domestic Terminal has three levels: Level 1 is the Arrivals level with a rental car centre across the street. Level 2 is the Departures level with Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. 
  • The International Terminal has five levels serving international (Concourse D) and US (Concourse E) destinations. Level 1 is Arrivals, Level 2 is check-in and security check, and Levels 3-5 offer concessions, shopping, and lounges.

Transferring between terminals

Passengers with connecting flights at the airport can easily transfer between terminals using the Connections Corridor which links the secure areas of the airport and allows passengers to easily transfer between the domestic and international terminals. The Connections Corridor can be used through moving walkways, pedestrian walkways and the YYC LINK Passenger Shuttle. The YYC LINK travels along a route that offers passengers scenic views of downtown Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. The shuttle runs from 06:15-00:30 daily and connects Concourses A and D/E in 5 minutes.

In-Terminal Hotel

Delta Calgary Airport Hotel

The Delta Calgary Airport Hotel is the only in-terminal hotel at YYC offering comfortable rooms with sound proof windows, business facilities, free WiFi, an indoor salt water pool, vast fitness facilities as well as three restaurants. 

Rates starting at CAD$ 149.-. Day use rates starting from CAD$ 99 for 3 hours (between 8:00-18:00).

The Delta Calgary Airport Hotel is right across from the west side of the terminal, connected by a walkway at Door 9, level 2.
