Exeter International Airport - EXT

Exeter International Airport lies around 7km east of the city of Exeter (and 170km south-west of London). It's a small airport with only four gates and few shops, that offers both scheduled and holiday charter flights in the UK and Europe.

There's one terminal building, on two levels, in an upside-down U-shape, with check-in in the middle as you enter, Departures and security on the left and Arrivals and baggage claim on the right. Most facilities are on the ground floor, except for the Executive Lounge, a viewing area and a bar on the first floor. 

• Landside: WHSmith newsagents, café, currency exchange, cash machines and a conference/meeting room
• Airside: World Duty Free, restaurant, bar, café, cash machine and Executive Lounge

Located next to the terminal building outside. There several comapnies available: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz. 

The airport is not on a train line, so you'll have to choose from a cheap bus or an expensive taxi.

Bus

The 56 bus, operated by Stagecoach takes you to Exeter St David's Station in 25 minutes, via the bus station. In the other direction, it takes you to Exmouth in 45 minutes. Buses run around once an hour from 07:35-18:30, with limited services on Sundays and bank holidays.

Taxi

Taxis at the airport are run by Apple Central Taxis (+44 (0) 1392 66 66 66, www.appletaxisexeter.co.uk). Other taxis are not allowed to use the airport rank, but can pick up and drop off when pre-booked.
