Getting around the airport

INV

Inverness Airport (known locally as Dalcross) is a small transport hub that lies 13km from the city of Inverness. It's basic but easy to transit through.

The airport is the main gateway for travellers to the north of Scotland and the Highlands, and serves airlines including British Airways, Flybe, easyJet and Helvetic Airlines, with flights to places including London, the Hebrides and Italy.

There is one terminal with only two boarding gates, and Arrivals and Departures are on one level. Its few facilities include:

  • Landside: WHSmith newsagent, The Meeting Place café, D'Lish restaurant and bar
  • Airside: WHSmith newsagent, Fly Nip off licence, Jail Dornoch Scottish clothing, café, Highland Lounge

Note that cafés may close early, and can be expensive, so if you have a later flight, you may want to bring food with you.

Airport opening hours: 05.00 - 23:30
