Saransk Airport serves Saransk city in Mordovia. It’s located 5 km away from the city centre. The airport had a major renovation for the FIFA World Cup 2018. The new terminal building is divided into two sectors, domestic and international flights.
To get to the city centre from the airport and vice-versa you can take Bus 7. While the journey takes around 34 minutes with the bus, with Minibuses it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes. The Minibuses are available at the airport transfer area.
