How to keep your Flight History from version 2.9 to version 3.0
First Login after the update to the new version of FLIO (3.0.00 and following)
Access to the app with the same credentials you used before the update to version 3.0.00 or to the following version. In this way, your Flight History will be maintained.
If you do not remember the password, register a new account using the same account email and create a new password. Your flight history will be recovered automatically.
You can find your past flights in FLIGHT HISTORY section. To access this section, just tap on Menu > Flight History.
New account already registered to the new version of FLIO (3.0)
If you have already created a new account using an email address different from the one of your previous FLIO account, you won’t find your flight history from the previous account. We can load it for you to your new account. Please contact us at email@example.com and send us the following information:
- The email address of the new account
- The email address of the previous FLIO account
We will restore your flight history into your new account and notify you when it’s available. When you log in to the new account, you will find your flight history in the Menu > Flight History.
How to access to Flight History
Access to the app with the same credentials you used before the update to version 3.0.00 or to the following version. In this way, your Flight History will be maintained. To see the list of your past and archived flights, click on the Menu icon at the top-left corner and then on Flight History. If you want to see your active or future flights instead, check the bottom of the Homepage. You can click on one of them to see the details of the flight.
How to see the list of My Flights
Access to the app with the same credentials you used before the update to version 3.0.00 or to the following version. In this way, your Flight History will be maintained. Your active or future flights are displayed at the bottom of the Homepage. Click on one of them to see the details of the flight. If you want to see your past flights instead, click on the Menu icon at the top-left corner and then on Flight History.
How to register a flight
If you want to register a flight, access to Flight Tracker section.
Here you can scan your boarding pass, or you can manually enter your flight details either by selecting the flight date and entering the flight number or by selecting the flight date and entering departure and arrival airports.
Please note that it is not possible to register past flights.
You can also add a flight from the ‘Timetable’ section of the application when looking for a particular airport. Click on Timetable and select the airport of interest. Once you find your respective flight, simply click on it and then on Save. Your flight will appear on the home page.
Active flights are displayed on the home page.
Archived flights are displayed in the Menu > Flight history section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and then click on Details to see all archived flights.
How to add FLIO Widget
1. On your Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
2. Tap on Widgets.
3. Scroll down the list of available widgets. Select FLIO widget and hold it.
4. Slide the widget to where you want it.
How to import a flight from your Calendar
Flights import from your Calendar will be available soon. We are working on it to offer you a better experience!
Where to find the boarding pass of a past flight
Boarding passes associated to past and archived flights are currently not displayed. We are working on it to offer you a better experience!
Where to find the boarding pass of an active or future flight
You can save the boarding pass for your flight in the page of the flight, by clicking on “Boarding pass” tab. The boarding pass can be added from the Gallery or scanned with the camera of your phone. When you need it, you can still find it on the page of the flight by clicking on “Boarding pass” tab. The boarding pass is available until the flight is not archived.
How to save a Frequent Flyer Card in the App
Currently, there is no possibility to save your Frequent Flyer Card in the App. We are working on it to offer you a better experience!
What is Lost Luggage Concierge?
Lost Luggage Concierge is our unique service that assists you if your luggage is missing upon arrival at your destination.
Our Customer Care service, available 24/7 in 6 languages, provides you support by telephone, SMS, chat and email and informs you in real-time about your luggage location.
We return your luggage within 24hrs or refund you up to € 4.000. See more details in our Terms and Conditions.
What is Flight Compensation?
On Flight Compensation section you can submit a compensation claim in case of cancellation, delay or overbooking of your flight.
All the flights that you register will be scanned and you will be informed if eligible for a refund.
What is Airline Info?
Get all the information you need about the main airlines, at hand:
- Direct contacts for support
- Link to modify your booking
- Web check-in
- Luggage allowance policy
- Change your seat
- Information on the documents needed for your trip

How to sign out of the app
To sign out of the app, simply open your profile by clicking on your profile image on the top left corner menu of the app. The logout option appears when you click on the three dots on the top right of your profile.
To sign out of the app, simply open your profile by clicking on 'My Account' tab at the bottom of the page. Next, scroll to the bottom of the My Account page and click on the 'Log out' option to successfully sign out.
How to change your password
To change your password, simply head to your profile and log out of your account. Next, click on the "Forgot Your Password" option to create a new password.
Finally, enter the email address which you used to sign up with FLIO and you will receive an email with further instructions how to proceed.
As of right now, our app is available only in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Lithuanian and Traditional Chinese.
If you wish to switch the app language, you can do so in the Settings menu.
We are already looking into translating our content into many more languages, so, stay tuned with our social media if your native language is missing in our app as we will be announcing there whenever we add new languages to the app.
How to change your email
To change your email address, simply head to your profile and click on 'Edit Profile'. Next, replace your current email address with the new email address you wish to have and click on 'Save' at the bottom of your profile page to save your changes.
To change your email address, simply head to the My Account section of the My Account settings menu. Next, click on your user name to change your user details. Finally, replace your existing email address with the new email address you wish to have and click on the check mark at the top right corner of your account details to save the changes.
How to delete your account
To delete your account, head to your profile by clicking on your picture at the top left corner in the side menu of the app. Next, click on the three dots at the top right corner of your profile page and click 'Delete Account'.
To delete your account, head to your profile by clicking on the 'My Account' tab at the bottom of the page. Next, scroll to the bottom of your profile and click on 'Delete Account' to successfully delete your account.
Airport waiting times
To inform you about airport waiting times so that you can organize your time more efficiently before a flight, FLIO has developed an innovative solution that collects anonymized data from travellers worldwide.
You can participate in this new collective effort by allowing our app to track your movement throughout the airport until your departure. With this information, we can predict airport times such as the time it takes to get through security or immigration, the time you need to get to your gate and much more.
Help make our predictions even more accurate to benefit from international airport waiting times for your future flights!
Disclaimer: Your individual data will never be shared with external parties. We are not creating individual passenger profiles, but rather collecting anonymized general travel data with the sole purpose of anticipating airport waiting times.
Problem finding a facility?
Our content team is constantly working hard to keep information about facilities at the airport up-to-date in FLIO. Nevertheless, we sometimes miss that a store has closed or a special facility has moved.
If you discover outdated facility information at an airport, please write us a quick update to firstname.lastname@example.org so that our content team can update the information.

How to activate push notifcations
To turn on our push notifications about flight status alerts or new airport offers and discounts, simply go the 'Settings' menu and activate the 'Receive Notifications' option.
You can easily switch off these notifications any time in your phone settings.
As soon as you track a flight and before you arrive at an airport, we send you notifications about important information regarding your flight such as departure time, gate changes or cancellations. We might also send you information about relevant discounts or any other airport information that is important for you to know.

How to cancel your FLIO Plus subscription
You can cancel your monthly or yearly subscription at any time through your Google Play Store account settings.
This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period in order to avoid an automatic renewal of the subscription and avoid being charged.

Past flights are grouped by design
If you added several past flights and have noticed that they have been incorrectly grouped, this is because unfortunately, journey grouping is not supported for manually added past flights by default. Our development team is aware of this and is trying to find ways to improve journey group designs. Thank you for your understanding.
Importing flights from your screenshots
If you have made a screenshot from your boarding pass and wish to import it to the app:
- Navigate to 'Your flights' section
- Tap "+" button
- Chose an option "Import from screenshots"
- Tap "Find Screenshots"
Our app will automatically scan all your screenshot folders and offer you to add to application all boarding passes we were able to identify.
Usage example: your airline sends you boarding pass via mail -> make a screenshot -> and tap in FLIO "import from screenshots".
Please note that the scanning process may take up to 30 seconds and depends on the number of screenshots you have stored on the phone.
*For Android-users only*
To have quick and easy access to your upcoming flights' information, we recommend adding the FLIO widget to your home screen so you never lose sight of your flight status. To add our widget, simply hold the home screen and the widget menu will appear. Next, search for the FLIO widget and place it on whatever phone screen you like best. You can also change the size of the widget.
Share My Journey
FLIO's coolest new app upgrade, Share My Journey, allows you to share your flights with others so that they can track important information about your flight such as terminal number, gate number, departure and arrival times, live progress and much more.
To use this feature, simply add an upcoming flight in the app and click on the top right corner in the share button.
Once the recipient receives your flight tracking link, he will be able to view your flight information and even receive flight status notifications (if he also has the app) so for optimal results, we suggest both parties have the FLIO app.
How to add a past flight
To add a past flight, simply go the 'Your Flights' section of the side menu of the app. Next, click on the '+' sign in the bottom right to add a new flight. Then, search for the flight date and input your departure and arrival airport. Finally, click on 'Save Past Flight' to save it.

Importing flights from TripIt
One way to add upcoming flights in the app is by activating the auto-import from TripIt.
To use this functionality, simply activate the 'Import from TripIt' option in the Flights Detection section of the settings menu.
Please be advised that TripIt does not currently support the import of past flights, so if you wish to add a past flight, you can still do so by either adding the flight manually with the flight date and flight number or by importing the flight from your Google Calendar.
Importing flights from Google Calendar
One way to add flights is from activating the auto-import from your Google Calendar. FLIO scans for new flight events added to your Google Calendar once every 24 hours and automatically imports those flights to your flights in the app.
To use this functionality, simply activate the 'Import from Google Calendar' option in the Flights Detection section of the settings menu.
Can't find/add a flight?
In the rare event that you can't find a flight in our app, please try any of the following solutions:
- Add the flight through the flight timetables
If you can't add your flight using your flight date and flight number, simply search for your specific flight on the flight timetable of either your departure airport or arrival airport.
- Add the flight by departure/arrival airport
If you know your flight date but don't remember your flight number by memory, you can still find for your flight by searching by Route (departure/arrival airport).
- Check your airline code
Airlines have 2 codes; an IATA and an ICAO code. For easJet flights, for example, the IATA code is U2 and the ICAO code is EZY. Sometimes, depending on the flight data we receive from our flight data providers, it is possible that you have to search for your flight by using either the IATA or ICAO code. Example: If you can't find your easyJet flight using the flight number U28255, try using the flight number EZY8255.
If you have tried all these 3 solutions and still cannot find your flight, please make sure to contact our support team at email@example.com and they will investigate this case for you.

How to add/track a flight
To find and track the information about your flight, please go to the ‘Your Flights’ menu.
Here you can either import the flight from your calendar or you can manually enter your flight details by selecting the flight date and entering the flight number. Once you have provided the flight number, you will be able to see save your flight.
You can also find information about your flight in the ‘Timetable’ section of the application when looking at a particular airport. Here you will find information about the estimated arrival/departure time, gate, terminal and other important information related to your flight. Once you find your respective flight, simply click on it and the option to add the flight will appear.
We get the departure and arrival information directly from the airports' flight timetables, so they should be right.
Nevertheless, always make sure to double check with your airport or relevant airline to make sure that the flight information is accurate and up-to-date.

We are sorry to hear that you weren't able to pay via FLIO. Please send a screenshot of the booking payment to email@example.com so that our support team can assist you.
Discount/coupon code wasn't accepted
Discounts work only at specific airports, so make sure you look at the right airport information in the voucher or coupon you wish to redeem. If you ever try to redeem a voucher or discount and this offer is not accepted, please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know us at which airport and store it happened so that we can improve the process.
Ads in the app
We understand that ads might be an unnecessary addition to our app, however, if we want to keep providing high-quality travel information in our app, we must rely on ads to keep our operations running.
If you wish to get rid of the ads, please feel free to subscribe to our ad-free version, FLIO Plus, which will also allow unlimited flight tracking and much more.
