Salt Lake City International Airport is located 7 km west of downtown Salt Lake City. The airport has 3 passenger terminals, divided into five concourses.
Salt Lake City has maximum rates for ground transportation provides (Uber and Lyft are exempt). The fare limits apply from airport to destinations in Salt Lake City. For 1-2 passengers, the maximum is USD 25 for Zone 1 and USD 30 for Zone 2. Extra passengers are USD 5. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
UTA public bus stops are located outside Terminals 1 and 2. UTA Routes 453 and 454 stop at the airport on the way to downtown Salt Lake City (600 South & State Street). Fares are USD 2.50 one-way or USD 6.25 for an unlimited all-day pass for light rail, local bus and streetcar. Buses run on a schedule. Each journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Hours: Route 453 – approximately every 30-40 minutes from 05:53-08:21 and at 16:14 Mon-Fri; Route 454 – 07:15 only, Mon-Fri.
TRAX light rail system travels between the airport and West Valley TRAX Station. The train runs every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. Fares are USD 2.50 one-way or USD 6.25 for an unlimited all-day pass for TRAX, local bus and streetcar. Take Green Line 7-4 for a 30 minute journey to the final stop.

This is the only lounge at SLC airport. Access is available for USD 50 and it offers food, beverages, and Wi-Fi.

There are no showers available at SLC airport.
A variety of rental car options are available on airport grounds. Alamo, Avis, Budget, and National are open 24 hours. Rental car counters are located on the ground floor of the parking garage, directly across from the terminal buildings, in between Terminals 1 and 2.
Power outlets are available throughout the terminals.
Power strips have been installed in the connector between Terminals 1 and 2.
