Getting around the airport

Two terminals

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is located 6km southwest of Nice. The airport has two terminals on opposite sides of the parking area. Also, free Wi-Fi is available for 30 minutes. Connect to “NiceAirport”. You can reconnect after the 30-minute time limit expires.

  • Terminal 1 has three levels: Ground level is Arrivals and Departures Check-in; Level 1 houses security checkpoint, lounges, food and drink, and prayer room; Level 2 holds the business centre with 11 offices, meeting rooms and a restaurant.
  • Terminal 2 has four levels: Ground level is arrivals; Level 1 holds Departures with the security checkpoint, food and drink, shops, and gates; Level 2 has only restrooms, stairs and elevator; Level 3 houses a restaurant.

Transferring between terminals

A free shuttle connects Terminal 1 and 2 and also links passengers to the car parks of the terminals. Note the journey takes 5 minutes from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 but the reverse journey takes 12 minutes.

Getting into Nice

Bus, Taxi and Uber

Express Bus

The Nice Airport Express Buses cost EUR 6 and operate from both terminals. Bus #98 “Promenade des Arts” goes to the beach hotels and Old Nice. It leaves approximately every 20 minutes and takes 20-40 minutes. Bus #99 “Gare Thiers" goes to the main train station, leaving every 30 minutes with a journey time of 15 minutes. The tickets are valid for a transfer to buses or trams within an hour. Note that you must press the red button to request a stop or flag the bus down at the bus stop on the way back to the airport.


Taxi

A taxi fare depends on how many people you are travelling with. A taxi to Nice will take approximately 20 minutes.

Uber

Uber X and Uber Black Car are available from the airport. Uber X costs around EUR 16-20 and they will collect you from the Kiss and Fly Zone. Uber Black costs approximately EUR 28-32 for a ride into the centre.

For the kids

Free strollers, play areas, baby-changing rooms

Free pushchairs, for children weighing up to 25kg to pick up in both terminals directly as you exit the security control points. Use them freely in the reserved zones.

Play areas in the boarding lounges with cartoons, wall games, early-learning games and rockers.
At Terminal 2, there is also an open-air play area outside the terminal.

Baby-changing rooms, both mums and dads can use with changing table and disposable nappies as well as toilets and washbasins for young children. 
Terminal 1

  • before security, at the entrance to P2 car park, basement, opposite the toilets, close to the business aviation sector
  • after security, boarding lounge A, B and in the luggage reclaim hall

All others washrooms have baby-changing facilities in the women's toilets. 
Terminal 2, before security:

  • below the restaurant level
  • opposite the information desk near the car-hire companies
  • opposite the bookshop
  • by Gate D4 (near to the regional produce shop)

Terminal 2, after security:

  • opposite boarding gates A11 and A12
  • hall A
  • hall B
  • luggage reclaim hall, Schengen side
  • luggage reclaim hall, international side
