Jorge Newbery Airport lies 2km northeast from the city centre of Buenos Aires in the neighbourhood of Palermo.
The two-leveled airport building is seperated into international and domestic areas and has four terminals, which the airport refers to as sectors: A1, A2, B and C. The sectors are closely linked and can easily be reached by foot, with escalators or elevators.

A variety of shops can be found throughout the airport, including duty-free shopping options.
You will find taxi cabs in the arrivals area of the airport. These are the local black and yellow taxis of Capital Federal. It will cost around ARS 10-20 to get into the city. Do not take a taxi on the street. It is safer to ask your hotel to call one or you can call one yourself from your cell phone.
If you are not carrying much luggage and want to save some money and experience the famous bus system in Buenos Aires, this may be a good alternative. It will cost you ARS 0.80-1 and you can pay only with coins. Besides, you should ask the driver to let you know when you should get off.
