There are a lot of places to eat at the airport (Tacos Chabelita, Carl's Jr, Coffee Caffee, Starbucks, Sbarro, Wings Restaurant and etc): 

• three restaurants on the ground floor, landiside
• upper level five restaurants, landise
• eight restaurants airside

However, be aware that there are no 24-hour food and beverage concessions at this airport. 

As a visitor from another country you are entitled to request a refund. 

• Main Terminal, before security, mezzanine area
• Hours: 9:00-21:00.

Many of the seats do not have armrests, so you could stretch out and sleep on them.

The airport recommends taking a taxi to get to the city center. Taxis at the airport operate 24 hours daily.

Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is located on Jalisco, Mexico. The airport is located 7.5 kilometers from the city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and 10 miles from Nuevo Vallarta in Nayarit state on Banderas Bay. The airport consists of one main passenger terminal with two Halls and on two levels.

- The lower level of the terminal houses check-in counters, domestic and international arrivals, restaurants, shops, bar and bank service facilities.

- The upper level of the terminal houses security checkpoints, domestic and international departures, restaurants, shops, duty-free stores, and the gates.

- Hall A is used for domestic flights and Hall B is used for international departures
