Bergen Airport, Flesland is located 20 kilometres southwest of Bergen. The airport has one passenger terminal, Main Terminal with 11 gates and a Helicopter Terminal. Gate 22 is used for international and Schengen flights, gates 23-27 are used for international and domestic flights, while gates 28-32 are reserved for domestic flights. The airport has two levels with Arrivals on level 1 and Departures on level 2.
Airport Express Bus offers two different routes between the airport Bergen and the city center. However, both routes end in Bergen city center, so even if you chose the wrong bus, do not worry you will end at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.
Taxi stand is available in front of the main entrance. The journey between the airport and the city center takes about 40 minutes. Be aware that the prices in Norway are high, so if you want to save money it would be better to take a bus. Cost: around NOK 450 (EUR 47)
If you live outside of Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden you can claim a refund for the taxes you paid on purchases in Norway. The refund is 13% of the food purchases and 20% on other purchases.

There are more than 4,000 parking spaces at the Bergen Airport. 1,500 of them are under cover. The garage is located close to the terminal. However, if you want to save money long term parking is cheaper in the outdoor car parks.
Car hire agencies can be found in the arrivals area of the airport, provided by Sixt, Hertz, Avis and Europcar. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
