Cochin International Airport - COK

Cochin International Airport is situated in the state of Kerala. It is the fourth busiest airport in India, in terms of international passenger traffic. Over the years, Cochin airport has attracted global attention, as it is the only airport in the globe which is completely operated by solar energy.

The airport is designed in ethnic Kerala style architecture and has three main terminals: two domestic and one international. There is also a cargo terminal spread over an area of 2,000 acres.

There are ample power outlets in the departure hall in both domestic and international terminals.

Cochin International Airport is located around 36 kilometers away from Kochi so taking the bus is a good option to get there. Alternatively, pre-paid taxis are also available. 

Bus

You can find the buses at the Airport Junction, which is near Athani on the road NH47. The junction is about 5 km from the airport and from here you will find lots of buses to Kochi or other destinations. You can also find state-run Volvo buses at the airport that are air-conditioned and will take you to different parts of the city for cheap prices.

Pre-Paid Taxi

At the entrance of Cochin International Airport, you can find the Pre-paid taxis. The taxis are available around the clock from the airport to any destination in and around Cochin.

Location: In front of the arrivals area
Cost: 700-1200 INR, depending on the taxi facilities and time 
Operating Hours: 24 hours daily
