Islamabad International Airport - ISB

Islamabad International Airport is located in Punjab, approximately 30 kilometres away from Islamabad. The airport, which opened in May 2018, is Pakistan's largest airport in terms of passenger capacity and is expected to become a major hub serving Northern Pakistan. Furthermore, it is also the first and the only airport in Pakistan that has an air bridge capable of handling the Airbus A380.

• The airport has an international concourse and a domestic concourse.
• The terminal includes 15 gates with ten remote gates, a four-star hotel, duty-free shops, food court and 42 immigration counters.

Taxi

Taxis are available outside airport arrivals. It is recommended that passengers bargain and agree to a fare before the start of the journey from the airport. Expect to pay around PKR 400 (USD 3.85). The trip should take approximately 25 minutes.

Bus

The Islamabad Metrobus is also being expanded to connect to the airport.

Rawal Business Lounge

Light refreshments, TV, Wi-Fi and reading materials available. This lounge is for VIP passengers.

CIP Lounge

Showers are available. All passengers can pay USD 10 (international) or PKR 200 (USD 2) for entrance.

There are six food concessions open 24 hours at ISB airport:

• Rawal Restaurant (First floor)
• Sareena Refreshment Counter (Rawal Lounge)
• TR Shop (Concourse Hall)
• The Elbow Room (International and Domestic Lounges)
• Snack Bar (International and Domestic Lounges)
• the Airport Canteens (beside the Car Park)

Power outlets at ISB are available with fingerprint locking system.
