Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport - OLB

Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport lies 12km south-east from the city centre. It consist of one main terminal.

Taxi

Taxis have their rank just outside the terminal next to the arrivals hall. The minimum fare for Olbia Airport taxis is charged at EUR 3.50, after which the fee is EUR 2,60 for the first 5 km, and from 5 km to the next 35 km the fee is EUR 2 per km. A typical jorney between the airport and the town of Olbia costs arounf EUR 15-20. Be aware that fares rise on public holidays and at night up to 25%. 

Bus

Olbia Airport busses take passengers via Bus N. 2 and Bus N.10 to Via Gabriele D'Annunzio in Olbia, where the train station is located. From this station you can take trains to Golfo Aranci, Oristano or Cagliari. 

• Bus N.2 leaves airport every 30 minutes throughout the day until 20:00. 
• Bus N.10 runs from the airport to Poltu Quadu, SS 125, Via Roma, Via Regina Elena, Corso Umberto, Via Mameli, Via Roma, SS 125, Poltu Quadu back to the airport. 

• Olbia Airport Club Lounge, main terminal, airside. Hours: 6:00-21:30 daily. 

The following car hire companies available in the arrival area of the airport: Avis, Alamo, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Maggiore. 

You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.

• Cortesa Runway Restaurant, first floor of new terminal Eccelsa of Olbia.
• Grain & Grapes, landside, next to the shopping area.
• Kara Food, landside, next to the shopping area.
• Karacafe, departures area, airside.
• Karacafe Smoking Garden, departures area, airside.
• Snack Bar e Pizzeria Karakiosk, outside the airport, arrivals side.
• Wine Bar Cosas Bonas, departures, airside.
• Time In Jazz Music Bar.
• Meet & Greet

In front of the airport, by the parking area. This service is for passengers only, you need to present your boarding pass or plane ticket and your ID. Baggage will be stored in a deposit located in the parking office. Hours: 7:00-22:00 daily. 

Cost: 

• EUR 5 per day, standard baggage,
• EUR 7 per day, maxi baggage

Grain & Grapes is a wine bar with a selection of Italian and especially Sardinian wines. It also serves local food. Head here for expertly handcrafted pasta, served wirh quality products of Sardinia: fish eggs, cottage cheese, tomatoes, mozzarella. Also breakfast with fragrant bread and croissants is available in the morning hours, starting from 7:00.
