Paris-Orly Airport - ORY

Paris, France (FR)

Getting into Paris

Plenty of transport options

There are many ways to travel between Orly airport and the city of Paris. If you’re looking to get there quickly and cheaply, we suggest taking the train.

Train

Take the Orlyval light rail to Antony station, then change to the RER B train (blue line) in the direction Aeroprt Charles de Gaulle to central stations like St Michel-Notre Dame, Gare du Nord and Châtelet Les Halles. Trains leave every four to seven minutes from 06:00-23:00 and journey time is around 40 minutes (six minutes to Antony).

Note: Keep your ticket with you as you'll need it to change trains and to leave the station at the end of your journey.

Cost: EUR 12 one-way (covers Orlyval, RER and Metro)
Buying tickets: Orlyval/Orlybus booth in the terminals
Location: Stations in both terminals

Taxi

Orly Airport is quite close to central Paris so taking a taxi can be the quickest route into the city. Prices will vary greatly, depending on where in the city you're going, and how much traffic there is. Be aware that there are surcharges of EUR 3 for more than three passengers and EUR 1 per piece of luggage after the first. Tipping is optional but not customary. From ORY airport, the taxi fare is set to EUR 35 if you're travelling to the right bank of the Seine river and EUR 30 to left bank of Seine river.

Cost: EUR 40-50 (more in heavy traffic)

Bus

Air France offers a shuttle service between airports and major train stations in the city, 'Cars Air France'. Line 1 links with Gare Montparnasse, Invalides, and Etoile from entrance D of Orly West. Journey time is around one hour. Line 3 takes you to Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Cost: EUR 12.50 into Paris, EUR 21 to CDG Airport
Buying tickets: On the bus and at counters in the terminals

Free water

No need to buy bottled water

If you’re carrying a refillable bottle we suggest heading to the Tourist Information counter in the South terminal. There is a free water dispenser that alleviates the need to buy overpriced bottled water. It’s also better for the environment!

Electronic boards

Slow and sometimes not updated

Listen to announcements! The screens at Orly are slow to be updated with boarding gate announcements or changes. We recommend listening carefully to any loudspeaker announcements because this issue has been known to cause flight delays and confusion among passengers.

Tip: Sign in with FLIO and add your flight to 'My flights' and enable notifications to stay up to date.
