For Cardiff and South Wales, you can take the National Express coach service that runs 12 times a day.

Getting around the airport

Single terminal

Bristol Airport lies 13km south-west of the city centre, and is used principally by EasyJet, Ryanair, Thomson Airways and BMI Regional to fly to holiday destinations within Europe. The airport has one terminal building, with three levels and most facilities airside:

  • Ground floor: Check-in, Arrivals (domestic on the right as you enter the terminal, international in the centre), immigration, passport control and several cafés
  • First floor: Security checkpoint, gates, shopping area with shops including and cafés
  • Mezzanine: Airside area with more eating options and roof terrace

Allow plenty of time: Although this is a small airport, there have been reports that it is overstretched, with long walks to gates and long queues at security and Arrivals.
