Bus

The bus services offered at the airport are comfortable and convenient, and it is only a fifteen-minute journey between the airport and the ARST Bus Station. Buses travel from Cagliari every half an hour.

Train:

The airport is easily accessible by train from Cagliari and all major Sardinian cities. The journey to and from downtown takes 5-7 mins.

Buying tickets:  Trenitalia vending machines located both in the Arrivals area and inside the train station
Location:  just a 5 minutes’ walk from the air terminal
Operating hours: 05:00-21:00 daily

Taxi

Taxis also allow you to reach downtown Cagliari, the city’s port, its railway station, and its coach station. The journey takes 10-20 mins.

Cagliari Airport is located 7km northwest of Cagliari on the Island of Sardinia. Presently, Cagliari Airport handles over 3.5 million passengers per year. Sardines Island is a common holiday spot for several European holiday revelers thus making the airport a busy terminal.
