Faro Airport - FAO

Faro, Portugal (PT)

Getting around the airport

Single terminal

Faro Airport lies 4km west of the city centre. Due to its location in the south of Portugal, it is also called Algarve Aiport. Since Algarve is a popular holiday resort, the airport gets very busy and crowded during high season in the summer. The Faro Airport has only one main terminal, which is divided into two areas:

- Arrival Area
- Departure Area

The terminal building has two levels. You will find restaurants and shopping options on the second floor. Wi-Fi access is available in the airport terminal.

There are different options for transportation. Beside car hire agencies in the arrival area of the building, bus and taxi stations are located outside the terminal. There is no train station at the airport. To get to the nearest train station, you have to go to the city centre of Faro.
