Getting around the airport

Single terminal

Liverpool John Lennon Airport lies along the banks of the river Mersey, about 12km south-east of the city centre. It's a fairly small airport serving domestic, European and North African flights, and connecting flights to North America, Canada, and Asia.

There's one terminal building built on two levels: Check-in on the ground floor and Departures on the first floor. Some of the airport shops include Boots the chemist, JD Sports, World Duty Free and a Liverpool souvenir shop. Some eating options include Subway, Starbucks, Frankie & Benny's and The Estuary.

Fun fact: According to the airport website, no matter where you are at the airport, you're never more than 10 minutes away from your gate.
