The 780 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with the Gara de Nord (main railway station).
The 782 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with Băneasa Shopping Center.
The 784 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with the city center (Unirea Square) – fast lane.
The 783 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with the city center. This line runs day and night. At night, the bus leaves every 40 minutes.

Cost: RON 3.50 one-way
Location: Airports stops are in front of the arrivals terminal and departure terminal.

Train

Henri Coanda Express Trains connects the airport and Bucharest North Railway Station. The passengers can reach the CFR “Airport Stop” by taking the shuttle buses departing from the Arrivals hall. Tickets for the train/transfer bus are available at the ticket office located in the International Arrivals public area, as well as from all the railway station ticket offices and travel agencies in the country. 

Cost: RON 6.8 one-way

Taxi

You may order a taxi by using the touchscreen devices in the public area of the arrivals terminal. The passenger gets in the taxi cabs right outside the terminal, on the first floor, by showing the ticket issued by the automatic touch screen.

Getting around the airport

Single terminal

Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport lies 16.5km north of Bucharest. 

The airport consists of one single terminal, that is divided into three parts (referred to as terminals):

  • Departures Hall
  • Arrivals Hall
  • Finger Terminal (airside concourse)

A passageway on the first floor of the terminal building connects Arrivals Hall and Departures Hall and is also offering different shopping facilities. The finger terminal is divided into Schengen and non-Schengen flights. The international departure area, located in the airside concourse, features a food court with decent dining options, cafés and duty-free shops.
